Nvidia CEO: Android tablets will overtake iPad in 30 months
According to Emil Protalinski, TechSpot.com, Nvidia co-founder and CEO Jen-Hsun Huang has declared that Android tablets will overtake Apple's iPad in 30 months. Nvidia has a vested interest in Android gaining market share, by the introduction of Tegra series of chips, such as Tegra 2 used by Samsung and Motorola. A rumor said Amazon's tablets may use Tegra 2 and then the next generation chip, quad-core Nvidia codename Kal-El platform (likely to be called Tegra 3) with Android 3.1.
